Extra Large Museum Plan Chest

Large Museum Plan Chest, British made, heavy duty, large format drawers, constructed to PEL conservation specification.

These drawer cabinets are available in very large sizes with drawers that can safely extend fully for easy placement or removal of items. The drawer extension slides with steel roller bearings and dust shields are high specification offering many many years of trouble free usage. Heavy Duty storage cabinet for large format papers or keeping large collections.
Store large material or objects up to 2.5 meters wide with a maximum depth of 1.6 meters making this one of the largest storage cabinets in the world.
Constructed from high grade steel ( 1.5mm - 2.5mm) this gives the cabinet complete stability when storing heavy items and can be stacked for maximum storage requirements.
The deep drawers (70mm - 250mm) have a triple runners system that has the capability to hold 70Kg -100Kg per drawer and be fully extended in use.
Extremely strong runner system (8 bearings per drawer) which is easy to clean.

We can supply the drawers with drop down fronts for heavy or fragile items in order to slide them in or out of the drawers without needing to lift them over the drawer front. Laminated Safety Glass drawer tops are also available for secure visible storage display.

Our Cabinets are made to order in the UK, they are generally available within 28 days, usually sooner.

For orders of more than two cabinets please process your order for a delivery quote.

Our online UK mainland shipping option excludes Scotland and the following postcodes; DT, EX, PL, TA, TQ, TR, if you require delivery to one of these areas please complete your order for a delivery quote, no payment will be taken.

One person delivery is transported on a pallet to kerb side. As this is a one person delivery, assistance may be required to unload. Installation can be arranged at an extra cost, please enquire for details.
