We will be attending the future museums show in Abu Dhabi on the 7-9th of June 2010. You can find us in the exhibition hall on stand 10.

The congress will highlight the issues and opportunities for museums today and tomorrow with a series of keynote lectures, high-level conference sessions, round table debates and a technology showcase.

Icon Conference CF10
PEL will be attending Icon's CF10 Conference on the 24-26th of March at Cardiff University.
"Icon's first ever conference will be held in Cardiff, Wales' vibrant capital city, to consider the broad theme of UK Conservation - past, present and future.
The conference aims to:
Advance and share knowledge about conservation issues in and beyond Icon's members
To have an enjoyable conference where people have time to talk and network
To leave Icon stronger as an organisation
Programme
The first full day of the conference will comprise of a one day plenary session for those attending the conference and will focus on the two themes - 'evidence based decision making in conservation' and 'a sustainable future for UK conservation'.
The second day will provide the opportunity for the Icon groups to host specialist half day seminars."

CF10 Programme Arcare.com online buying for the public
Preservation Equipment Ltd has launched a new website for the serious collector and the public to purchase acid free archival materials.
Work will continue on the site introducing smaller quantities which the private person requires.

New 'Caring for.' leaflet
The National Preservation Office is pleased to announce the latest in a series of 'Caring for .' leaflets. Caring for CDs and DVDs can be downloaded free of charge from the British Library website or printed copies are available free of charge by contacting NPO directly.
