Protect your collections by using archival quality polyethylene foam to line display cases, drawers, shelves and boxes. Line phase boxes for extra protection of rare books. Archival foam type A is a flexible, closed cell, polyethylene foam which is produced using a process that results in a continuous, smooth surface. Foam has excellent chemical resistance, low water absorption and vapour transmission, superb thermal insulation and a non-abrasive, aesthetically pleasing surface. The foam is available in a 33kgm3 density in both 3mm and 6mm thicknesses, and in either black or white. It is easily cut using scissors, paper cutter or a utility knife. Also available with an acrylic adhesive backing.
