Book Strips

Clear 50 micron polyester plastic strips will keep books being held for binding in order, while at the same time allowing them to be shelved. This clear, non-adhesive strip can also be used to hold rare books open for exhibition while allowing patrons to read the type beneath. Simply cut the strips to the desired length, wrap around the pages of the open or damaged book and attach using tape or Velcro® fasteners.

For heavy rare books use wider softer polypropylene strips under the page using the 16mm or even 6mm polyester over the page, this will give a clear, less obtrusive display.
