Especially developed for paper conservation in bound books. Allows conservation of single pages by inserting the wedge shaped perforated platen. The working surface of the device can be adjusted to prevent stress to a bound volume, ensuring the page lies horizontal while work takes place. A clear acrylic cover holds open the page and gives protection. The support table and stand has an area for tools and materials. The platen is made from stainless steel with perforations of 1.5mm diameter and has a working surface of 320 x 270mm. Comes complete with connecting hose, the stand size is 1070 x 820 x 80mm high. Control unit allows adjustment to the vacuum and air flow by regulating the Generator to the desired levels.
