This table with its patented heating system provides temperature control, air flow and vacuum control during various treatments. The flat edge to edge surface allows conservation work on very large paintings in sections. The precise even temperature 20 degrees centigrade to 70 degrees centigrade (with safety controls in case temperature should exceed maximum) is especially important in paintings conservation to provide equal exact controlled temperature.

The patented principle of warming the perforated surface ensures that heat is transmitted to the object very quickly. Very short periods of heating and cooling down are achieved by the low mass of the heating element. Therefore the time the work of art is exposed to heat during treatment is reduced to a minimum. From ambient 20ºC, heating up to 50ºC takes just 50 seconds. The heat distribution over the whole table surface is a constant even temperature and is only +/-1.5 ºC. The support table is made from aluminium and has heat control, vacuum and air flow controls, with indicating lights.
