Developed especially for conservation treatment of paintings without removing them from their stretcher. Versatile heated platen is very useful for local or partial treatment without affecting the total surface of the object. The heated platen can be positioned at the edge of the table to treat the painting at the sides.Also, a very useful facility is the platen can be lowered or lifted to a height best suited for the local treatment on frames of various widths and depths. The partial heated suction table is integrated into a working table and can be adjusted flush to the table top allowing the unit to be used for other conservation work. The desired vacuum pressure can be adjusted precisely, as can the temperature from the control panel mounted on the support trolley which has lockable casters.
