archival record storage blogTo make sure your vinyl record collection is stored in the best way possible, you need high quality acid-free archival storage. Make sure that your storage environment is clean, acid-free and protected with PEL.

  • Acid can cause vinyl records to degrade more quickly - choose acid free storage boxes & sleeves
  • Clean with an antistatic cloth after playing and before storing
  • Prevent dust ingress with a sleeve cover
  • Old acidic inner sleeves should be replaced for heavyweight acid free paper sleeves
  • Use lint free cloths when cleaning
  • Manage the storage space to prevent humidity, mould and pest damage
