About our movie poster pockets: Archivists and conservators insist on polyester for storing art and other documents due to the glass-clear, inert protection it provides, knowing it will not crack or yellow with age like other plastic pockets. Our polyester pockets are so strong, they withstand constant handling, which lesser plastic products wouldn't. Pockets are open one short side (unless otherwise stated) - If you require two open sides please see our polyester sleeves. Some refer to archival quality polyester as 'Melinex' this is simply a trade name owned by Dupont.
