Moistop Barrier Foils

Moistop laminated aluminium barrier foil rolls (PP038 grade) for conservation, shipping and protection.

Moistop is a highly technically designed laminated barrier foil consisting of polyester, aluminium foil and polythene, used to prevent corrosion and moisture damage to works of art.

Frequently used for lining shelves, drawers and display cases as a barrier against off gassing from wood or MDF and other materials. Heat sealable at 180C/2 Seconds, the PEL crossweld Sealing Machine is ideal for sealing Moistop.

Construction: Polyethylene / Aluminium / Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE)
Total thickness 100 Micron
