Laponite RD is a fine white powder that can be mixed with water to make a clay poultice or gel.
Laponite is commonly used in conservation for the cleaning of ceramics and stone, plus other surfaces. Poulticing can soften old adhesives and soiling.
Gel forms at 2% concentration, colloidal dispersion.
